Route - TIW WorkShop TIW's Route Module performs three key functions; creating the step-by-step instructions for manufacturing an item which the scheduler then uses to develop a production plan, defining which route is preferred by an item being manufactured so that costed bills of material can be calculated and new work orders can be smoothly assigned a route, and determining what materials are required for each step in a manufacturing route.
An Operation Library can be created that contains your company's standard operations. During the creation process, these operations can then be loaded on the master route. This, can result in a major time savings and assure that critical instructions remain uniform. For More information
