ACCPAC’s Corporate Series is a full 32-bit Windows 95/98/NT program with advanced features for the larger businesses that require scalability. ACCPAC Corporate Series provides power while maintaining an easy-to-understand user interface both for the line staff and the administrators. The main interface for the program uses a tree menu-like Explorer. Icons in the right pane represent the individual functions within a module. Items are grouped under modules by such categories as various types of reports (analytical, processing and setup), account maintenance, transaction entry and module setup.
Corporate Series includes the core accounting modules: GL, AR, AP, PO, PR, OE, IC and System Manager (administrative services and common services). The data-entry screens are clean and uncluttered in their design and remain consistent in their form and functionality from one screen to the next. ACCPAC provides a huge library of reports for each module. It divides reports into three different groups: analytical, processing and setup. The analytical reports are primarily management and other analysis reports, while the processing reports include edit/review reports and other processing output. Setup reports give various profiles of setups within the various modules, such as customer setups and modifications in AR. Printing reports merely entails double-clicking on a report icon, checking off the report preferences in its dialogue box and then printing it. You can also print reports off of processing screens. Custom reports can also be created or modified using Crystal Reports.
